I create works centered on experience and embodiment, beginning from instruction art. Verbal prompts serve as the work itself, as blueprints for project activities, and as anchors that preserve each work's core. Like musical scores or recipes, the work is completed only when individual interpretations, experiences, and actions resonate together. From this perspective—valuing each person's "awareness" and shifts in relationships above all—I continue to explore the contemporary possibilities of this practice.

Behind this practice lies the avant-garde art of the 1960s. Inheriting the spirit of instruction art—a form of expression that emerged from Fluxus and Conceptual Art, treating verbal instructions themselves as artworks—and its emphasis on ideas and actions, I continue a practice that values not only finished "forms" but the moments of change and discovery that arise from work to person, and between people.
In our contemporary world of intersecting values and increasing complexity, each person is called to reconsider their relationship to society and others from their own perspective. I believe art has the potential to quietly draw out the power of "sōzō" (想像/創造)—to imagine, create, and communicate. I send these works into the world hoping that experiences beginning with small questions will grow into new awareness and dialogue within someone.

インストラクション・アートを出発点に、体験や体感を核とする作品を制作しています。言葉による問いかけは、作品そのものであり、プロジェクト活動の設計図であり、作品の核を保つ指針でもあります。楽譜やレシピのように、個々の解釈や経験、行為が響き合うことで、作品ははじめて完成します。一人ひとりの「気づき」や関係性の変化を何よりも大切にする—この視点から、その可能性を現代的に探求し続けています。

この表現の背景には、1960年代の前衛芸術があります。フルクサスやコンセプチュアル・アートの流れから生まれたインストラクション・アート—言葉による指示そのものを作品とする表現手法—に見られる「アイデアや行為の重視」という精神を受け継ぎながら、完成された「かたち」だけでなく、作品から人へ、そして人と人のあいだに生まれる変化や発見の瞬間を大切にする実践を続けています。
価値観が交錯し、複雑さを増す現代において、一人ひとりが自らの視点から社会や他者との関係を捉え直すことが求められています。アートには、そのための「そうぞう」の力—想像し、創造し、伝える力—を静かに引き出す可能性があると信じています。小さな問いかけから始まる体験が、やがて誰かの中で新たな気づきや対話へと育っていく。そんな循環を願いながら、これらの作品を世に送り出しています。
