How to Become an Adult Well with Art was a summer workshop held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, with 14 children aged 11–15 and 12 university student volunteers. Over three days, participants deepened their understanding of conceptual art while experiencing its appeal and joy.

Instructions were posed to participants—"Buy ¥1,000 worth of yourself," "Pretend to sleep, then give form to the dream you had"—and through their responses and expressions, participants discovered the importance of original ideas and perspectives. Absurd things were attempted in earnest; conceptual and philosophical questions were explored through play. On the final day, participants performed their own created instructions in a concert, followed by an archive exhibition of the three days.
