We often underestimate the extent to which our health is influenced by societal and environmental factors, many of which are beyond our control. Disparities in living environments can lead to health inequalities.

The Creative Determinants of Health is a DIY instructional card project designed to help you reconsider your living environment from a different perspective and reflect on your physical and mental health. Composed of multiple prompts with an instruction art-based approach, this tool combines the Social Determinants of Health with Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory. The cards are easily downloadable and can be assembled by hand into a card-format artwork.

Some instructions are clear, while others may feel ambiguous—this is intentional. You can interpret each card's meaning in your own way: use them for personal reflection, explore your neighborhood by responding to prompts as part of community development, or engage with them playfully. The cards are designed to be adaptable to various contexts.
