“Looking for…”—missing person notices seen in conflict zones, disaster sites, and on street corners. Fragments of lost lives belonging to people whose names and faces we may never know. What if you were the one being searched for? This work was born from the emotions that arise when imagining oneself in that position.

Draw yourself with your own hands and Make a missing-person poster. Through this simple act, participants experience a small ritual of reclaiming physical communication—a form of connection that predates the digital—while rediscovering childhood memories and the primal joy of making something by hand.

By placing yourself on the searched-for side and reflecting on your own existence—imagining your relationships with others and your place in society—you may encounter emotions and realizations that everyday life often keeps hidden. As the posters accumulate on the wall, they form a collective reflection on what it means to be here.
