STORY
with the theme "Awakening – Where Are We Standing? – Earth, Memory, and Resurrection." As head of the Education and Community Engagement program, I oversaw the development of its structure and curated program contents for public and audience engagement.
Kids Triennale (KT), a distinctive component of AT2013, prioritized experiential learning and process over conventional art education—creating an open, inclusive environment accessible to local residents at any time. Over 79 days, KT welcomed more than 60,000 visitors.

Selected KT Programs
Memory Room (Kioku no Heya) A collaborative installation built over 79 days through three instructions: paste, paint, and peel off. Beginning as a portrayal of everyday life constructed from recycled materials, it evolved through the accumulated creative contributions of all participants—each day's newspaper incorporated into the work. As a final ritual, fragments were peeled off and given to participants to keep, completing the artwork.
Related! 79 Keywords Curators, producers, and staff collected words and interpretations inspired by the AT2013 theme, narrowing over 300 keywords down to 78 through workshops. The final keyword was created by each visitor—generating unexpected chains of association ("Catastrophe → Dinosaur → Large → Frightening") that revealed new connections and challenged the assumption that art is difficult or inaccessible.
Leaflets for Aichi Prefecture Schools To deliver genuine art experiences rather than simply entertain, I incorporated Yoko Ono's official instructions into all educational leaflets—distributed to elementary, junior high, high schools, special support schools, and secondary education schools across Aichi Prefecture.
Triennale Kit A viewing kit developed by the education and engagement team, designed to enhance the visitor experience in exhibition spaces.
あいちトリエンナーレ2013は、東日本大震災後の「揺れる大地―われわれはどこに立っているのか：場所、記憶、そして復活」をテーマに開催された。教育普及プログラムを統括する立場として、パブリックプログラム、ボランティア育成、キッズトリエンナーレを含む事業全体の構造設計とプログラム内容を担った。
キッズトリエンナーレ（KT）は、学校教育とは異なる体験とプロセスを重視したアプローチで、地域の人々がいつでも立ち寄れるオープンな環境を目指した。79日間の開催期間中に6万人を超える来場者を迎えた。

主なKTプログラム
きおくのへや 「貼る、塗る、剥がす」の3つのインストラクションをベースに、79日間かけて参加者の協働によって完成するインスタレーションである。リサイクル素材で構築された「部屋」は、参加者の創作の積み重ねによって変貌を遂げ、毎日その日の新聞も素材として取り込んだ。最終日には「きおくのかけら」として一部を剥がし参加者に手渡すことで、作品は完成した。
つながる！79のキーワード キュレーター、プロデューサー、スタッフがAT2013のテーマから連想した300以上のキーワードをワークショップで78に絞り込み、最後の1ワードを来場者一人ひとりが創造する参加型の仕組みを作った。「カタストロフ→恐竜→大きい→怖い」といった予想外の言葉の連鎖は、アートは難しいという固定観念を打ち砕くヒントをもたらした。
教育普及リーフレット 子どもたちに本物のアート体験を届けたいという思いから、リーフレット全てにオノ・ヨーコ公認のインストラクション作品を取り入れ、愛知県内の小・中・高・特別支援学校等の全児童・生徒に配布した。
トリエンナーレキット 教育普及チームが開発した、展示スペースに持ち込み可能な鑑賞用キットである。
