STORY

Weaving Stories – Art in Everyday Life is an oral history project in which I conducted ten conversation-based interviews with core members of the Tsumugu Project. Roppongi has evolved and transformed over the decades; the ideas, memories, and lived experiences unique to this place exist as invisible yet precious assets in people's hearts. Through dialogue, this project traces the shape of a community and the forms that art takes in everyday life. The ten video works were produced in collaboration with videographers and editors.

紡物語ー日常にあるアートは、つむぐプロジェクトのコアメンバー10名にインタビューを行ったオーラルヒストリーの実践である。時代と共に発展・変化してきた六本木には、この場特有の発想や記憶、生きた経験が、目には見えない尊い財産として人々の心に宿っている。対話を通じて浮かび上がるコミュニティの姿と、日常の中にあるアートのかたちを描き出した。ビデオグラファー・編集者との協働により、10本のインタビュー映像作品として制作した。
